No. Salceology strictly uses metal alloy compositions that have corrosion resistance to the elements. Our pieces come with 1-year non-tarnish guarantee.

Yes. Salceology uses metal alloy compositions that have corrosion resistance properties when exposed to the elements. They can be worn in water or be exposed to moisture if absolutely necessary. Please note that all jewellery inevitably tarnishes over a period of time.
To prevent this process from happening faster, it is recommended to minimise contact with water and the elements by safely storing and cleaning jewellery frequently. Our pieces come with 1-year non-tarnish guarantee.

HOW DO I CLEAN AND STORE MY SALCEOLOGY JEWELLERY SAFELY?
Although our pieces are non-tarnish and water-resistant, all jewellery no matter the quality and metal composition will inevitably fade over time due to oxidation.
All jewellery orders will come with an eco-friendly keepsake box, a velvet polish cloth and free velvet travel pouch (if stock is available). It is recommended that customers store their pieces in the keepsake box to avoid exposure to direct sunlight, air and moisture when not in use.
It is also recommended that Salceology pieces are cleaned using warm soapy water, an alcohol wipe and wiped down with our polish cloth to avoid scratches.
We do not recommend the use of harsh brushes, scrubs or materials to clean Salceology pieces as they will most likely cause micro-scratching and imperfections.
